Please join us for our first FREE session featuring Universal Color Design, by Kendall College of Art and Design professor emeritus and design consultant, Bill Fischer.
Bill will dive deep into his methods for designing colorful, decipherable, and emotional experiences for everyone, including the 50% of us that will experience one or more vision deficiencies in our lifetime.
This eye-opening presentation will provide an in-depth review of how contemporary color-design can limit access to media, education, and careers, for persons with visual impairments, such as low-vision, cataracts, scotopic sensitivity, color-blindness, and light sensitivity. Bill will demonstrate how that can be remedied by implementing Universal Color, which enables marketers and designers to expand their reach, avoid legal jeopardy, and create color-rich shared-experiences for everyone.
Attendees will gain knowledge in:
Common vision deficiencies through the use of simulations.
● How universal color design can expand market share.
● Which ADA Accessibility requirements are affected by color design.
● How designers can utilize Universal Color to ensure compliance, expand markets, and practice good design citizenship, all within their normal workflow.
Take-away
Student attendees will receive a free personal subscription for The Fischer Universal Color Design Course and System.
